On the morning of Friday 25th October Year 3 were visited by the dental health team promoting dental health awareness amongst the children. The children were given important information on how to maintain their dental health as they grow older.
Here we have the children showing us the results of the plaque disclosing tablets!

Welcome to the new year 3!
Welcome to all new year 3 children, parents and families.
We have a great start with spellings, great homework and regular home reading- well done everyone!
A good week was capped by a visit by 2 Celtic children.
Morag and Thorag visited 3.1 and answered questions about life as a Celtic child. It was very interesting and we learnt a great deal.
There may be more Celtic visitors in 3.2 soon so watch this space!

Year 3 visit Exmouth!
The sun shone as 55 eager year 3 children got the train from St. Thomas to Exmouth.
We walked through Manor Gardens, past the War Memorial, and had some well-deserved refreshment in Manor Gardens.
We then headed for the beautiful Exmouth beach and created some sand sculptures.
Some of the adults cooled off in the sea!
Hats are us!
After creating, it was time for lunch and the playpark....and all the fun we could have!
Well done Mrs. Knapman- you made it!
He's after something!
Nice toffee crumble ice cream ?
Take it easy girls!
Hold on tight!
After our busy day it was time to get the train back to Bowhill.
We were all hot, tired and thirsty when we arrived back.
A lovely day was had by all...... can we go again?
