Local area walk.

The sun was shining so we decided to make the most of it.
We went into the heart of St. Thomas to find out how it has changed over the years.

A lovely housing estate is where the old county ground and speedway track used to be;

Cowick Street Motors is where the local prison used to be for those who owed money;

Age UK is on the site of the old fire station and council offices. Their names being carved on the front, is a give- away to all eagle-eyed historians;

It's hard to believe that Tesco used to be a garage!

We returned to enjoy a biscuit on our very own Bowhill octagon, which has previously been a running track in John Stocker days.

How will our local area change in the future?
What changes can you remember happening?
Imagine St. Thomas in 30 years time?

Wow, we are very much part of history.....so lets make it something to be proud of!

Class sculpture in 3.1!

Out of nothing ....a sculpture was created....
Out of sculpture.... a story was composed!
Enough poetry...now to our creations....
What is it?
'A cat', some thought.
'A hand', others thought,
'An immersion heater' thought Mrs. Draper (!!!!!!)

We also sculpted another amazing creation...can you tell what it is?

What will we create next?
Keep on sculpting!
