Christmas maths in year 3!

Just as everyone is starting to think about the weekend, year 3 had other ideas. We invited our parents in to help us create different  Christmas pictures using co-ordinates and compass points. It was lovely to see so many people supporting their children, and others, to produce some fabulous creations.

Happy times in year 3 for all of us.

The biscuits went down well too!

The children and parents worked hard together and we all enjoyed ourselves.

 Did you really create that?

 Who's looking at who?
The finished results were great... Thank you to all who helped to make it a very enjoyable Friday afternoon.
Merry Christmas from the Year 3 team and a happy New Year to all of you.
                                              Roll on 2013!

  2. Really tricky at first, but a very enjoyable task, once I got my brain in gear. Jolie loved the colouring in, oh and so did I.

    1. Well it wasn't my idea if I am honest! But we all certainly enjoyed ourselves.
